Letter From Citizens to Western Michigan University
In our continuing effort for constitutionally limited government, a supporter sent us this letter to post. We are happy to help.
This letter was sent to each member of the Board of Directors and the Secretary of the Board of Western Michigan University by a coalition of like-minded taxpayers called “Citizens for Wise Growth”.
Sources tell us that a County Commissioner sent this letter to the local newspaper, most likely asking them to do a hit piece on Citizens for Wise Growth. God forbid the peasants speak up. The same sources also tell us that not one person who signed the letter was contacted by any commissioner to ask their opinion as to why they sent it.
No doubt the commissioner who ran to the newspaper for help thinks the taxpayers should not be interfering in the commissioners latest $10 million raid on the treasury. S/he probably thinks the taxpayers should just shut up and pay the bill — just like Murdock Village — just like the baseball stadium — just like the sidewalks to nowhere — just like . . .
Here is the letter, in full. Tell us what you think.
Hat tip and thank you to: Susan Hutt
