This is the video from the Ackerman MSBU. Over half the lots are worth less than the MSBU tax and one lady was given a bill for almost $340,000 for one home!
This is the third area discussed at an MSBU public hearing on July 20, 2016. 400+ taxpayers filled the meeting hall and in a historic victory for the taxpayers of Charlotte County, the County Commissioners were shouted down and forced to retreat. All seven MSBUs were rejected, one modified!
The Commissioners have vowed to bring them back next year in spite of the fact that the people clearly DO NOT WANT sewers.
