This is the video from the El Jobean MSBU Public Hearing. This group brought the outrageous assessments to the attention of the Commissioners on live television over a month before this public hearing.
This is the fourth area discussed at an MSBU public hearing on July 20, 2016.
400+ taxpayers filled the meeting hall and in a historic victory for the taxpayers of Charlotte County, the County Commissioners were shouted down and forced to retreat. All seven MSBUs were rejected, one modified!
The Commissioners have vowed to bring them back next year in spite of the fact that the people clearly DO NOT WANT sewers.
